Code of Ethics
It is the policy of League of Wisconsin Municipalities Mutual Insurance (the Company) that its employees and Directors uphold the highest standards of ethical, professional behavior. To that end, these employees and Directors shall dedicate themselves to carrying out the mission of this organization.
Conflicts of Interest
Company employees and Directors are obligated to promote the best interests of the Company at all times. They will avoid any action that involves, or appears to involve, a conflict of interest with the Company. Employees and Directors will not have any undisclosed, unapproved financial or other business relationships with suppliers, customers, or competitors that could impair their judgment on Company matters.
Compliance with Laws
Employees and Directors will comply with the laws, rules, and regulations of the jurisdictions in which the Company does business.
Reporting
Reports and communications will be delivered in a fair, accurate, timely, and understandable manner.
Compliance with Code of Ethics
If an employee or Director has knowledge of or is suspicious of any violations of the Code of Ethics, that person is responsible for appropriately disclosing that information to management, the Board of Directors, and/or the Company’s auditor.
Accountability for Adherence to Code
All employees and Directors are responsible for abiding by this Code. Violations will subject the individual to discipline that may include termination.
Disclosure of Code
This Code of Ethics will be publicly disclosed as determined by the Board of Directors or as required by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners or State of Wisconsin.
